Course Objective 
To enhance your career path in the fast-expanding beauty and hair industry through the established course offered by ITEC, the largest international examination board in the UK. Ensuring best practices in the workplace that are linked to the relevant job roles. 

Course Content
The main skills the learner will perform are:  

  1. Consultation techniques – to include understanding the needs of clients and when and when not to treat them, contra-indications, referral procedures explaining possible contra-actions and providing aftercare and homecare advice
    2. Health, safety and hygiene – contextualised to the environment in which the learner is working
    3. Holistic massage techniques – include selecting a suitable massage medium for the client’s skin type, classical massage movements and adapting the treatment to the client’s specific needs  
    4. The related knowledge and understanding required to perform the massage skills listed above effectively, in particular, the anatomy and physiology of the body and common diseases and disorders that may affect when a client should or should not receive treatment  
    5. Knowledge and understanding of the principles and practice of complementary therapies  
    6. Knowledge and understanding of professional conduct and business awareness in a complementary therapies context  
    7. Opportunities for learners to focus on the development of their more comprehensive skills in a massage setting, such as communicating with clients, working with others and problem-solving  
    8. Opportunities for learners to develop a range of skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in employment as a holistic massage therapist

At least a Grade D or Grade 5 in GCE N Level English or Certificate in relevant discipline

Progression
Once candidates have achieved the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, they may progress on to higher level of ITEC courses. This award qualifies graduate to operate their own freelance practice. Graduate can also gain employment in Massage industry.

  10. All fees paid are not transferable. 
  11. All non-tuition fees paid are non-refundable. 
  12. An official receipt will be given on receipt of payment. 
  13. A late payment charge of S$12 per month will be charged for overdue payments of more than two weeks.  
  14. The school reserves the right as its discretion to terminate the student from the course for overdue fees.
