VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage

Course Objective 
To enhance your career path in the fast-expanding beauty and hair industry through the established course offered by ITEC, the largest international examination board in the UK. Ensuring best practices in the workplace that are linked to the relevant job roles. 

Course Content
The main skills the learner will perform are:  

1. Holistic massage

This module focuses on the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to perform full-body massage treatments that promote relaxation and well-being. Students will learn:

• A range of massage techniques (e.g., effleurage, petrissage, tapotement)
• Client consultation and treatment planning
• Use of massage mediums (oils, creams)
• Health and safety practices
• Benefits and contraindications of massage therapy

2. Professional conduct and business awareness

This module prepares students to work professionally in the beauty and wellness industry. It covers:

• Ethics, professionalism, and client confidentiality
• Personal presentation and hygiene standards
• Communication and customer service skills
• Business operations, marketing, and sales basics
• Legal responsibilities and workplace compliance

3. Anatomy and physiology

This module provides foundational knowledge of the human body relevant to beauty and massage treatments. Topics include:

• The structure and function of body systems (skeletal, muscular, circulatory, nervous, etc.)
• How different systems interact and respond to treatments
• Understanding common conditions and when to refer clients
• The importance of anatomy in safe and effective practice

Administration and Language Requirement 
At least a Grade D or Grade 5 in GCE N Level English or Certificate in relevant discipline

Full Time: 2 months x 6 Days x 6 hours

Part Time: 2 months x 3 Days x 3 hours

Mode of Study 
Full Time: Mon to Sat 10.30am – 5.30pm  

Part Time: Mon, Wed and Fri 7.00pm – 10.00pm

Graduation Requirements
Minimum 60% marks for all the Practical and Theory Examinations
Must Obtain a Pass for all the Portfolio Assignment

Progression
Once candidates have achieved the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, they may progress on to higher level of ITEC courses. This award qualifies graduate to operate their own freelance practice. Graduate can also gain employment in Massage industry.

Payment of Fees
All required payments of fees must be made according to the payment schedules as stipulated in the student contract.

3. Payments of fees can be made by Cash, Cheque, Paynow or Credit Card. 
4. Payments made by Cash will be in Singapore Dollars.

9. All cheques should be crossed and made payable to ‘TONI INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF AESTHETICS & PHYSIOLOGY PTE LTD’. 
10. All fees paid are not transferable. 
11. All non-tuition fees paid are non-refundable. 
12. An official receipt will be given on receipt of payment. 
13. A late payment charge of S$12 per month will be charged for overdue payments of more than two weeks.  
14. The school reserves the right as its discretion to terminate the student from the course for overdue fees.
