Course Objective

Course Content
The main skills the learner will perform are:
- Holistic massage
This module focuses on the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to perform full-body massage treatments that promote relaxation and well-being. Students will learn:
- A range of massage techniques (e.g., effleurage, petrissage, tapotement)
- Client consultation and treatment planning
- Use of massage mediums (oils, creams)
- Health and safety practices
- Benefits and contraindications of massage therapy
- Professional conduct and business awareness
This module prepares students to work professionally in the beauty and wellness industry. It covers:
- Ethics, professionalism, and client confidentiality
- Personal presentation and hygiene standards
- Communication and customer service skills
- Business operations, marketing, and sales basics
- Legal responsibilities and workplace compliance
- Anatomy and physiology
This module provides foundational knowledge of the human body relevant to beauty and massage treatments. Topics include:
- The structure and function of body systems (skeletal, muscular, circulatory, nervous, etc.)
- How different systems interact and respond to treatments
- Understanding common conditions and when to refer clients
- The importance of anatomy in safe and effective practice

At least a Grade D or Grade 5 in GCE N Level English or Certificate in relevant discipline

Progression
Once candidates have achieved the VTCT (ITEC) Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, they may progress on to higher level of ITEC courses. This award qualifies graduate to operate their own freelance practice. Graduate can also gain employment in Massage industry.

- A late payment charge of S$12 per month will be charged for overdue payments of more than two weeks.
- The school reserves the right as its discretion to terminate the student from the course for overdue fees.
