Course Content 

Manicure and Pedicure

This module equips learners with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed to perform professional hand and foot treatments.
Key content includes:

  • Nail Anatomy & Conditions: Understanding nail structure, growth, and common disorders.
  • Health, Safety & Hygiene: Preparing the workstation, tools sterilization, and client care.
  • Manicure Procedures: Filing, cuticle work, exfoliation, massage, and nail polishing.
  • Pedicure Procedures: Foot soaking, hard skin removal, toenail shaping, and foot massage.
  • Aftercare & Recommendations: Advising clients on maintenance and suitable home care

Nail Art

This creative module focuses on decorative nail techniques that enhance basic manicures and pedicures.
Key content includes:

  • Design Fundamentals: Use of shapes, colors, and symmetry in nail design.
  • Nail Art Techniques: Includes marbling, dotting, striping, foiling, glitter, rhinestones, and freehand painting.
  • Tool & Product Usage: Proper handling of nail art brushes, stamps, and embellishments.
  • Custom Design Planning: Creating unique styles tailored to client needs or occasions.
  • Professional Practice: Clean application, durability, and safe removal techniques.

 Professional Conduct and Business Awareness

This module prepares learners to operate professionally within the beauty industry while understanding basic business principles.
Key content includes:

  • Professional Image & Ethics: Grooming, attitude, punctuality, and integrity.
  • Client Communication: Handling enquiries, consultations, and complaints effectively.
  • Salon Procedures: Appointment systems, record keeping, and inventory management.
  • Marketing & Promotion: Branding, service packages, upselling, and retail strategies.
  • Legal Responsibilities: Health and safety laws, data protection, and workplace compliance.

Administration and Language Requirement 
At least a Grade D or Grade 5 in GCE N Level English or Certificate in relevant discipline

Manner of Assessment 

Graduation Requirements 
Minimum 60% marks for all the Practical and Theory Examinations 
Must Obtain a Pass for all the Portfolio Assignment 

Progression 
Once candidates have achieved the VTCT (ITEC) Level 2 Certificate in Nail Art, they may progress on to higher level of ITEC courses. This award qualifies graduate to operate their own freelance practice. Graduate can also gain employment in Nail industry.

  3. Payments of fees can be made by Cash, Cheque, Paynow or Credit Card. 
  4. Payments made by Cash will be in Singapore Dollars.

  7. Transaction Remark: Input the student’s name, following the official NRIC name

  9. All cheques should be crossed and made payable to ‘TONI INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF AESTHETICS & PHYSIOLOGY PTE LTD’. 
  10. All fees paid are not transferable. 
  11. All non-tuition fees paid are non-refundable. 
  12. An official receipt will be given on receipt of payment. 
  13. A late payment charge of S$12 per month will be charged for overdue payments of more than two weeks.  
  14. The school reserves the right as its discretion to terminate the student from the course for overdue fees.
